All bottles are supplied by the laboratory.  Preservations are pre-added for non-chlorinated systems.  Chlorinated systems require separation of preservation chemicals for most methods.  Inform the laboratory if you are sampling from a chlorinated supply.

1/2 oz bottle of 50 % HCl supplied upon request.
**  Prepare Monochloroacetic acid buffer (ClH2CO2H) by mixing 156 ml of 2.5 M Monochloroacetic acid (36.855 grams per 156 ml) with 100 ml of 2.5 M Potassium Acetate (9.914 grams per 100 ml).
***  Sample should be taken at first draw after water has set in the pipes for 6 hours.

IMPORTANT:  Methods 504, 505, 524.2, 525.2, and Secondary need an extra bottle for Quality Control analysis per batch.  Inquire about the necessity of taking extra bottles for these methods.
